Venue: Central Avenue & Harbin Travel The Memorial Tower of Fighting Against the Floods of Songhua River

In the Harbin Zhongyang Pedestrian Street, or known as the Central Avenue, lots of European style buildings had been built on the both sides of the road, which showed nearly 300 years of history in culture and architecture. The activity offered participants an opportunity to experience how the culture and architecture greatly changed the feature of Harbin city. Also, it provided a great time for them to release pressure and enjoy the food and services provided by the shops which are located in the street. 

 

For the visit to the Memorial Tower of Fighting Against the Floods of Songhua River, students had an opportunity to learn about the history of the serious flooding that happened in Harbin. They were also able to know the famous people who had relieved the disaster.
