Aims:

Upon the completion of this activity, participants are able to:

1. Understand the cultural differences between Heilongjiang and Hong Kong      

2. Meet more friends and build a wider range of network

 

The main purpose of visiting a buddy’s home is to provide an opportunity for participants to explore the culture and customs in Heilongjiang. Participants can experience the life style of the locals as well.

 

Besides, there are great differences in food culture between Heilongjiang and Hong Kong. During the visit, participants prepared lunch for their buddies. The ingrediants and sauces used were different from Hong Kong. For example, people in Heilongjiang would like to have sugar with fried egg and tomato. However, people in Hong Kong would prefer adding salt instead.
