Aims: To have a healthy life and become stronger
We are honored to invite our ALUMNI to be our COACHES (Alan, 阿靖, Ben, Grace, 家輝, 阿鋒) of Thai Boxing. Alan and his teaching assistants are professionals and they were passionate to teach us.
Firstly, we started with some basic movements such as punching, elbow, kicking, knee and foot-thrust. Then, we used the mitts and targets for actual combat and further movement. After the practices, there was a little competition to punch and kick as many time as possible within one minute. In this competition, we could test our limbs and strength and train ourselves physically.
很榮幸能邀請校友(Alan,阿靖,Ben,Grace,家輝,阿鋒)以及他的教學團隊教導是次活動, 他們專業以及態度使我們能從中獲益良多。首先,我們從衝,肘,踢,膝,腳等基本動作入手。 然後,我們用手套,手靶和腳靶進行實戰和組合。 完成基本動作後,進行了小型比賽,就是在一分鐘內鬥快出拳和踢腳。 在這場比賽中,我們可以看到我們的極限和強項,試圖從彌補自身弱點。 舉行泰拳活動對我來說是一個很好的經驗,因為我必須把不同工作分配給組員,試著尋找合適場地以及找教練。 要完成這個目標並不容易。 雖然我們遇到很多問題,但是我們坐在一起討論,試圖找到解決問題的最好方法。希望學生能把學會的動作學而致用。

Tsang Woon Yon, Brian
Holding the Thai boxing activity was a good experience for me because I have to allocate jobs to team members like booking the venue and finding an appropriate coach. It is not easy to achieve the goal perfectly. Although we faced lots of problems, we sat together and discussed to try to find the best solution to the problem. That is team spirit!
Lau Ka Wa, Steven
I learnt some basic skill of boxing, such as jabs and crosses, knee strikes and straight kicks. Those could practice my muscles. Also, we practiced a physical training to strength our body. We understood more our physical faculties. This was a wonderful experience of knowing our bodies. Finally, we had a small competition which brought a lot of fun to us.

Through this activity, I have learnt the basic type of punching of Thai boxing, and also the way to kick. By further practice, I believe that it can be good to my health. Also, the warm-up was useful to my exercise, so I felt happy as this activity brought some advantages to my HLJ trip.

This was my first time to play Thai Boxing. The warm-up and fitness parts just similar as track and field training I have joined before. The coaches are very helpful to teach us. Also, the competition among us was very funny. This was a good experience to play with all members.
