Day 2 - First Step to Heilongjiang

Field Trip head Alan and Children Home Team's Jean were playing with the little kid with open minds and open hearts.

This is the group photo taken at the The Memorial Tower of Fighting Against the Floods of Songhua River in Central Avenue.

We arrived the Harbin Ice-snow World and took a group photo at the entrance.

We had hotpot with our energetic and gentle buddies. This was the first time to meet and we got to know each other

Central Avenue

After going to the Children Home and playing with the children, we went to Central Avenue to visit The Memorial Tower of Fighting Against the Floods of Songhua River during the daytime.

Harbin Ice-snow World

Then, after enjoying the icy views in Central Avenue, we also enjoyed the Harbin Ice-snow World. We were looking forward to seeing the different types of ice sculptures. We were extremely lucky to witness such beautiful winter and fine and cold weather as our teacher said.

Finally, after enjoying the Ice-Snow World and watching the magnificent ice sculptures, we were also very glad to see our buddies from Heilongjiang University at dinner, and it was our first time to meet each other.

Children Home Visit

In the morning, we first went to the Children Home to visit many lovely children. After an ice-breaking group activity, we were separated into two groups on was doing palm painting while the other chatted with the children. During the second half of the visit, we all played together and gave the children some presents. It was great to spend quality time with these lovely children.
