Day 3 - Amazing Night with Buddies
5th January, 2018 Friday
After a three-hour journey from Harbin, we arrived at Daqing. Compared to the previous 9 Heilongjiang Challenges, this was the first time to visit Sanyonghu Yongkang Square during the daylight.

Tonight's networking activities left everyone feeling warm and imaginative and the atmosphere was very lively. Both parties, the Heilongjiang University and the City University Students, prepared a variety of entertaining acts and performances such as singing and dancing. There were, also, two professional Latin dancers who taught us how to dance Bachata, a Latin American dance form. It helped to build up more harmonious relationship with our buddies as we danced with them.
ISB event has brought up big opportunities for us to build a connection and mingle with buddies from Heilongjiang. It was a great joy as we danced, played games, enjoyed the songs together.
The challengers and their buddies were cherishing a moment of silence and were reflecting back on the International Student Ball.

Daqing
We arrived Daqing from Harbin and visited the Iron Man Memorial Hall. We listened attentively to the staff and learned the importance of the discovery of oil wells to China and its citizens. Furthermore, we learned about the life of the Iron Man and his great deeds from the various exhibits. For example, the role he played and the tools he used.
